Married Women's ghetto RANT

Married Women's ghetto RANT,
is an article by Captain Danielle Strickland. You can read it at J.A.C. on line :

I highly recommend it. It is passionate and raises some good questions. I appreciate her honesty and her willingness to lay it all out there.
Is she right? Has she gone too far? Is she exaggerating??
Hmmmm…….

tahnks for pointing this article out! I think she makes valid points that are probably should be aired.

Probably? Does that suggest some doubt?:)

I'm equally intrigued why probably should be there!! I think it must be a rogue left by not back spacing far enough.

I think I started to air more of an opinion of mine that I am working through that married women officers shouldn't be having to make the stand as married women officers. It should be the joint married officers pointing out that such opinions are an afront to their joint ministry.

So I think I had typed out probably aired not only by married women officers!!

No doubts at all - :o)

Thanks for the clarification! Joint ministry is wonderful but unbalanced in the Army. I have held positions that encouraged my gifts and abilities. I have held positions that were given to me because I was the wife. My husband has never held a position because he was my husband but has always been given positions that are directly related to his gifts and abilities.
Equality as Bono says is “a real pain.”
