You've captured one of my favorite phrases from scripture.....
"He has set eternity in the hearts of men"
Your words reflect our God, who sees all things from the perspective of eternity... a view we cannot get our arms or intellect around entirely...it can only be understood from the heart.
YOur poem breathes the difference from resigned faith in fate, to understanding that all time and power are in the hands of our Father.....and we reside longingly in His Hands, in faith, that He makes order from chaos today,
as well as in His first creation.
As Christ was,.... we are ....,
fulfilling His will.
