Memorial weekend- poem and painting

A birch tree is marked by its scars
Its white bark a bold contrast
Baring all
Bending with the wind
Submitting to The Spirit

The willow tree gracefully bows
Its branches cascading down
A waterfall of tears
As the wind passes by
As The Spirit moves

Some are called
To stand like birch trees
Bearing all
Wearing the mark of scars,
Sharing in His suffering.

Some are called
To stand like willows
Weeping
Crying as the Spirit moves
Sharing in His sorrows.

We are all called
To stand faithfully
Where He has planted us
Rooted in faith
Grounded in Him.

Thanks for the blessing.
The images of our created world are reflections of our Father's domain.

Those whose lives are lived in that kingdom reflect beautifully its' deep truths.

Transparancy let's the most light in through its lens,....... thanks again for your eyes and gifts.
