Vision of a Tsunami

Vision of a Tsunami

There is a shifting
in deep places
Friction, unrest,
Everything is disturbed
SHAKEN

some are resting on the shore
some are soaking in the sun
some are watching their feet
sink into the sand as small waves
lick up against their legs.

The water pulls back
Recedes, disappears
Leaving the ocean floor bare
For miles, miles and
Miles

Those who are curious try
To run and catch the water
But it is gone too far...
Everything is abruptly exposed
The scenery has changed

Look! There in the distance
A great wall of water
Moving quickly
Moving toward us
No where to run or hide!

Expectations washed away
Nothing can stay the same
Cover me with Your hand
Wash over me,
Flood me….

Come with power Lord
Expose, cleanse,
CRUSH
Move quickly so no one will be lost
And in your wrath remember MERCY!

I love the analogy of the "shifting in deep places, and the "friction, unrest, everything disturbed" it is time for the fountains of the deep to be broken up again, for the windows of heaven to be opened and the rains pour down.....(Gen, 7:2)

Am I willing to pay the price of the last stanzas' ??? " Even so. Lord Jesus, come"
