Resurrection and Life

What is dead?
What is hopeless?
Four days buried,
Wrapped and sealed?
What has past?
Lost all reason
Doubt like grave clothes
Tightly bound?

‘Cause I know
The Resurrection
I know Life

What lies dead?
Prayers unanswered
Riga mortise
Has begun!
Who has strife?
Tombs of heartache?
Griev’d past comfort,
Tons of tears?

‘Cause I know
The Resurrection
I know Life

Lord, remove
The stone of doubt
Call forth my name!
Break the seal!
Grave clothes off!
No longer bound
Passing through your
Open door

I know
The Resurrection
I know Life!

Lord, rise up!
And set me free
Resurrection!
Life in me.
He’s my hope
Darkness is gone
He’s the reason
Hear my song!

I know
The Resurrection
I know Life!

John 11:25 ( The Message)
"You don't have to wait for the End. I am, right now, Resurrection and Life. The one who believes in me, even though he or she dies, will live.

Kissed by the sun.- Vacation 08

The sun kisses
my shoulders
my back
my face
Righteousness pours down
Like beams of light
wrapping around me
warming my skin
sinking into my soul
touching my spirit

I relax
I rest
I bask in the glow
of His presence
in the light of His glory

Faithfulness rises
above the mountains
piercing the darkness
with warm colors
that slowly fade
into a cool blue sky

Cares and anxieties
wither away
Unable to withstand
The heat of the day
Justice breaks forth
Like the noon day sun
In gratitude and reverence
I lift my face to heaven
I kiss the son.

Who am I?

Who am I?
A secret weapon?
Hidden
Wrapped
Forgotten
From a battle long ago

Who am I?
To be this weapon?
Given

Providential
Protection
From an enemy within

Who am I?
A secret weapon?
Sharp

Skilled
Useful
Only in my Master’s hand

Who am I?
Goliath’s sword

1 Samuel 21:8-9
David asked Ahimelech, "Don't you have a spear or a sword here? I haven't brought my sword or any other weapon, because the king's business was urgent." The priest replied, "The sword of Goliath the Philistine, whom you killed in the Valley of Elah, is here; it is wrapped in a cloth behind the ephod. If you want it, take it; there is no sword here but that one." David said, "There is none like it; give it to me."
